I went to visit my grandma yesterday who I hadn't seen in a couple of months. She's a very blunt woman. She told me that she didn't think that my stomach was that big, but she really thought my butt was growing. I was surprised to hear this because I hadn't noticed a difference. She just responded with, "Honey, I'm not trying to hurt your feelings; I'm just being honest. It's not my fault you have a baby in your butt!" My MIL said this is typical of a boy pregnancy. So this poses my question...do our bodies react differently when pregnant with a boy vs. a girl?
Re: Boy vs. Girl pregnancy body
No, I think every pregnancy, body and baby is different. So much depends on your hormones, position of the baby, how you gained, etc. This is my #2 and we do not know what we are having. But I am carrying different and the pregnancy has been different overall. But I have friends that had the same sex children and had totally different pregnancies.
My take: I'm carrying tiny and low. But am I having a boy? Noooooo.
Everyone's different, LOL.?
definitely an OWT. But it's always fun to guess, right
Based on the OWT and how I was carrying, DD would have been a boy...
