Good morning ladies. Everything is going well for me and the lo. Feeling a bit more restless, but I am still able to keep up on my exercise (walking) and daily activites.
QOTD: I don't think there is any one thing that I am hung up about having in the delivery room. The baby is still breech and I am not completely ruling out the possibility of having a c-section. So I guess I will wait and see.

Hello Ladies! Our baby boy, the DH, & myself are all doing well! I keep saying it, but I can't believe I'm in the 3rd tri! Where did 2nd tri go?! I'm looking forward to this weekend as the DH and I will be putting together the nursery furniture we have so far (which is everything minus the rocker/glider and ottoman). I'm so excited!
Friday QOTD: Do you have any specific things that you will request/ask for in the delivery room?
I haven't even thought about this, is that bad??!! I'm sure I'll have some things after my childbirth class in June.
Friday QOTD: Do you have any specific things that you will request/ask for in the delivery room?
Since I have to have a c-section I dont think I get the option but I am going to ask if I can hold the baby and maybe even try to nurse. Not sure if they will let me do that though! When I had DS I asked for low lights and a quite room, just the least possible noise, it was great while pushing and being able to focus but I still had to have a c-section!

I want my mom and my DH - fo sure!
I know running a marathon/triathlon and labor are two different things, I can't help but approach labor like a big race.
I want to listen to my iPod, Jobber. He's my running bff and always seems to know the exact song I need to hear. I'm also scared they won't let me eat anything. I just can't see going for hours on end without at least eating some Gu and Gatorade. One of my special motivational treats is a Coke waiting for me at mile 18 (when I usually hit the wall). I really want a Coke in my "special needs bag"
QOTD: Hmmmm that's a really good question. I know that I definately want my husband to cut the cord and after our little angel is all bundled up I want lots of pictures taken. I also have to have a pillow from home. Those hospital pillows are aweful and you can't get comfortable with them. But other than that I think I'm not real picky on what I want to request.
As for what's new.....
I have had lots of stress going on and I am praying that things work out for the best, but I have to remember that I can't get to worked up because it affects our little man as well. Just have to keep my head up high and smile
Wednesday QOTD: Do you have any crazy or abnormal fears/phobias, not pg related? Hmmmm, none that I can come up with at the moment.Friday QOTD: Do you have any specific things that you will request/ask for in the delivery room? Nope I am pretty laid back about it all.Wow I am so boring today, sorry! My little nudger is going crazy today, I love feeling him all the time.?
This little kiddo is moving like crazy now - DH and I love watching my belly move! It wakes me up every night around 3-4 in the morning as active as can be - something to look forward to! Had an ultrasound at 23 weeks as a follow up to 18 and 20 week ultrasounds - one of the baby's kidney's is enlarged and they think there is an obstruction where it connects to the ureter which will likely mean the baby will need surgery after its born. Scary, but they say it is fairly common and treatable, so we'll just hope for the best! I figure that's why God gave us two kidneys, right?!
Friday QOTD: Do you have any specific things that you will request/ask for in the delivery room? I would like a natural birth, so will be requesting no drugs or interventions unless necessary. I am also adamant about being able to drink liquids and eat if I am up for it!

The only thing I know I'll request and I'll have control over is that there only be DH and medical staff in the room when I'm pushing.
Friday QOTD: Do you have any specific things that you will request/ask for in the delivery room?
Amongst other things, I want the baby to be placed on my chest and I will try to nurse as soon as possible.
On a great note, I passed the 1-hr glucose tolerance screening yesterday!
Happy Friday!
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
BFP-2/25/11; 8 Wk U/S-3/25/11-No HB, measured 6.5 wks; D&C

That I will request/ask, I'm not so sure except meds when I feel the need for them. Oh, and to be kept as warm as possible. Hospitals are freezing.
Friday QOTD: Do you have any specific things that you will request/ask for in the delivery room?
The only thing that I ask is for essential medical staff and my DH to be in the room. Other than that I could care less about music, etc.
