I suppose I have a couple:

July 15th is DH & BIL's bday

July 20th is my mom's bday

Aug. 5th is my bday

I would be fine w/any day really, but my Grandmother has 27 grandchildren and God knows how many great-grandchildren I am trying to make it easy on her.

Just sayin': when the word "too" is used it's usually meant to indicate that a person, thing, or aspect of a situation applies in addition to the one just mentioned... It was odd being used since jhelly77 obviously said she thought 9/9/09 would be neat and that means SEPTEMBER 9, 2009, not August...

I'd love him to come on his EDD - August 21. It was my grandma's birthday. She passed away last summer and this would be her first great-grandchild. It's not likely to happen, but would be cool!

I'm due October 3rd, but I'm hoping for October 7th, which is my late grandmother's birthday....sort of in her honor. Smile

I like our due date, August 5th. The 5th is kind of like my "lucky" day, since so many good things have happened to me on the 5th of a month. I would prefer her to be an August baby, and not change her mind and come early in July!

I am due Sept 22nd. Would love to have the baby in Oct--which is what we were trying for, just happend real quick! Otherwise I would love Sept 19th because my (late) maternal grandfathers 100th birthday would of been on that date.

I'm really hoping for September 8th since that is my birthday. Due date is September 22nd so it's dueable since it's only 2 weeks early. Also, and 9/9/09 certainly has a nice ring to it!

I'm due Aug 11th but I have this feeling she is going to come Aug 6th. I'm not sure why, but the date just seems it.

Due date is August 22nd... August 17 is my sisters bday but I think she is the devil and dont really want her to share a bday with my son.... lol stupid I know... but its true.

But I would like to shoot for the 29th of August... reason being as weird as it may sound.. My mother passed away on the 29th of August 4 years ago, and I feel like she has been really close to me since I have been pregnant, like my 90% of my dreams have her in it & it involves my son. And I think if he was born on that day, that it was like a gift from her, or something....

is that weird?

My EDD is Oct 13th. If my ER had been the day originally estimated, by EDD would have been Oct 15th which is my BFFs birthday. I took that as a good sign my entire IVF cycle, so it might be cool if the babe were born on the 15th.

My EDD is Oct 15 and I want to go on that day because i have 3 brothers and all of the kids in my family have their B-day on the 15th of a month. Just my brother who is the black sheep of the family is the 12th just off by 3 days. He just had to be different. Oh how his B-day tells so much about him.

My due date is Augsut 3rd....I only have dates that I would prefer the baby NOT be born on...July 24th is my mom's birthday and July 25th is SIL's birthday. I just want him to have his own birthday, and not have to "share" that day with anyone. Anytime after 37 weeks is fine with me though, as long as he is good, healthy and ready to come out! Earlier than the due date might be better so that DH can have more time with him before heading back to work on August 24th!

My due date is August 12, but DH's birthday is July 20. I think that would be cool for them to share a birthday! I'm just hoping to pop this baby out at the end of July. I will be full term right around DH's birthday so I will be ready for him/her to make his appearance then!

8 days late...which woudl be Sept. 6th b/c it's one day after my siste'rs wedding. I do not want to have the baby earlier b/c I don't want to deal with the logistics of having an infant at a wedding with 150 people and I would rather be huge and miserable and have the kid late and get through the wedding (and not miss it!) than have it early and deal with my family and the baby at the wedding and take that time away from my sis.

I know I won't get my way BTW ...i can always dream.

My EDD is 8/18. We tried to plan it that way so my Mum could come out from the UK in her school holidays (she's a teacher), but she doesn't arrive till the 5th, so hopefully not before that. But even more I want to avoid 6th-8th since DH is going to Lollapalooza and it would be a hassle to get hold of him and get him to come back. Thoughtful, right?!

Yes! My EDD is 6/11/09. There are two dates near my EDD that would be meaningful if baby were born on...

My dad's birthday is 6/12, so I thought it would be pretty cool if baby shared his birthday.

Also, 6/7 is the anniversary of our first date, so that would also be kind of special.

I'm due 11/3/09 so 10/31/09 would be great for me!! Anytime after 10/24 is ok since I have two weddings to go to in October. 11/10/09 would be cool too, hubby and I were married 9/8/07!

I'm due October 17th, but I kind of like the 14th. Mainly because each time I ahve an u/s, after my first u/s it shows baby 3 days further along.

My EDD is September 28, but I am hoping the baby will come a day early to hold the tradition of the 27th. Four out of the five grandchildren on my mother's side of the family are born on the 27th of a month. It would be nice to continue this convienience for great grandma's sake!

We actually ttc so we could have an August baby. Both my husband and my birthday is in August. My birthday, my mom's, my Aunt's, and a great great grandmother all share the same birthday on August 8th. Which is not happening. Husband's Bday is Aug 30th, baby will have to come 2 weeks early for that!

My EDD is 08/26/09 but I would prefer he be born on 08/25/09..it would be the 3rd anniversary of my husband's and my first date. I'm hoping to avoid 08/31/09 because I really don't want our son to have to share his birthday with his father for the rest of his life. I share the same b-day as my FIL and it's a struggle EVERY YEAR because my husband's family wants him home, and I either have to go with and do my birthday some other day, or spend my b-day without my husband.

Not really, I'm OK with our October 11th date. But, my parents 28th anniversary is the 11th, my grandma's would-be anniversary the 12th, my brother's bday the 20th and grandpa-IL is the 22nd. So, this baby can decide to share with one of them, or make his/her own day! Whichever is good with us:)

My original EDD was Sept. 29. If we were having one I would have my fingers crossed that LO held in until Oct. 6 b/c that is my dad and my bday. But with twins there is no way that is going to happen. I just really want them to be born in Sept. so they will be nice and big and healthy. Plus I love sapphires! and I think it would be better to have their bday during the school year.

My EDD is 8/17, and DD's birthday is 9/15, so I thought it would be kinda cool if he came on 8/15. I am sure closer to that day I will be hoping for sooner, though!!

my EDD is August 13th but our 5th anniversary is on the 14th so I am thinking that might be fun, plus I really like even numbers...kinda weird I know!
