There is a DVD of the ceremony and I am pissed about it. I made it very clear that I did not want video proof of it. And he bought the damn thing anyway....and f*cking gave it to his parents.
did you have any really funny or horriffic moments happen?
It was only horriffic to me, we had to move the ceremony indoors against my will. I wasn't a bridezilla up until the time when the ceremony started, I held it up to try to let the rain pass.
OMG and the MULLETS. How could I have forgotten about the fuucking mullets.
Eh. They're alright. We ran out of time to do posed family pics so that was kind of a bummer. We have one picture of us with our parents and there are a bunch of people behind us. We have some nice detail shots and nice shots of the wedding party. Looking back, I wish we had used a different photographer, but what can you do?!

I had three. My SD was one and well, we know how that goes. Another is one of my best friends and yes, we are still close but she's out of the country right now. My MOH was my best friend but she married an obsessive psycho who brainwashed her. No joke! He cut her off from her oldest friends, took her away from her family and everything she knew. We don't speak because she supposedly hates me now
if you could do it all over again, what would be different?
I would use a different photographer. Other than that, the day was awesome. Oh, and we should've taken dancing lessons. We talked about it but never got around to it. We swayed through our first song and DH couldn't wait for it to be over (he's not much of a dancer). Maybe if we had taken lessons, he would've felt more comfortable and not so self-conscious.

It had 4 tiers, buttercream frosting, each layer was a different kind of cake. It was purdy. Oh and we bought a cake topper and ripped off the bride and groom and replaced them with a Princess Leia figure and a Han Solo figure. DH is a bit of a geek...

We couldn't spend much on the food, but we had finger sandwiches, cheese and crackers, fruit, deviled eggs (at FIL's request)...I don't remember what else. Oh, and we had chocolate covered strawberries but I didn't get a chance to have one. I loooove choc covered strawberries. They were the really cool ones that look like they're wearing a tuxedo.

The cake was lots of drama. My husband wanted a croquembouche (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croquembouche), but it would have cost thousands of dollars. THOUSANDS. So I had the genius idea that I would make the croquembouche. I made a trial croquembouche and everything. Total PITA. About two months before the wedding my MIL and SIL ended up having an intervention with me about this plan, during which my H nodded along with them, all concerned about me, as though the croquembouche wasn't his idea in the first place. I cried. We ended up buying a sheetcake from the caterer.
But, we found, nobody cared that we didn't have a huge wedding cake. The sheet cake was delicious. (Lemon!)

I've never watched it, and I don't plan on it.

DJ, he did a really good job of getting people dancing and keeping them on the dance floor.

We used a comp and did it ourselves. Disaster!
Very much so!
I would insist we hire a DJ. I would have spent the money on heaters. I would have taken pics on the wharf.

We had a buffet. I can't remember what it was now but it was super good and listed in my planning bio. LOL
Once that dress was on I didn't pee until I popped the cork at the bar. At that point I was too trashed to care.
Pictures with DH, all alone was pretty awesome. This was before the ceremony.

i did the same exact thing.
A good friend is a local musician. Our first dance was to one of his songs; he was playing it.?
Band. Hot jazz. Think Django Reinhardt.?
Yes. Our photographer was the best investment of the whole wedding.?
I would have invited children. We didn't, in order to save money. But cripes almighty, the drama that decision caused was not worth the savings.
One month shy of two years.?
10 months.?
The cake was lots of drama. My husband wanted a croquembouche (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croquembouche), but it would have cost thousands of dollars. THOUSANDS. Yes. Though, one of them has a new job and a new boyfriend, and has been hard to reach. ?
Some kind of chicken dish, and a vegetarian dish.?
Honest to god, I don't think I ever needed to go. A sign that I was dehydrated.?
The vows.?
