kinda. My BIL took our photos for us for free. He's not a professional photog but he has training in it. Some of the pics are really good but there are shadows in some of them (the ones we had to do inside when it got too cold out) and he gave us the CD and we're photoshop dunces so they remain unedited
Not really. Well, our friends (who weren't the photographers) got us some amazing photos and there are enough to make a decent album, if I ever get round to it (why, yes, I have been married 3.5 years, why do you ask?).
But I wish we had hired a professional, instead of letting our friend do it as a gift. They weren't that good, they were rushed and I only have one (bad) pic of me. Not that I need tons of me - but at least 1 good one would have been nice to frame for my parents or for my dh.

just had a MOH. she was my bff in hs and we've been friends ever since. we talk every few months on the phone. but we were doing that before the wedding too.
The months were actually quite similar since we moved in to our house a couple months before. Even before that we already knew each others annoying habits so it was easy.

if you could do it all over again, what would be different?
Gosh, a few things.
Much as I love my dress, that would be different. Something with a waist line, probably. We'd hire a photographer. I'd do my hair the way I wanted instead of what I let myself be talked into - and it would be at least partially down. We would have rehearsed with music. But that's about it really. Just minor details.

lamb or prime rib or vegetarian. This was a huge source of contention and drama (my family doesn't eat lamb, his family MUST have lamb at a wedding. And I'm a vegetarian)
Actually proposed? About 15 months. But we'd had a wedding date chosen and had been looking at venues and such (and were for all intents and purposes engaged) for about a year before he proposed. There was not a lot of doubt we were in it for the long haul.

we insisted no stuff like the chicken dance or hokey pokey be played ever. so during dinner my parents gave us a card that said "and you thought you wouldn't hear the chicken dance at your wedding" and when you opened it, it played that freaking song!!! i had a good laugh.

a few things to limit the major drama. My H and I actually got into a fight at our wedding reception b/c I changed the 'anniversary dance' and didn't tell him (he was a total groomzilla). He wouldn't talk to me for about 2 hrs at the reception. Alcohol did not help this. It was terrible. I still cringe thinking about this and try to remember my wedding as everything that happened before this.
And I'd probably invite a few friends that I really thought I'd lose contact with but have been really close to since. We kept the guest list small and had to cut indiscriminantly and I sometimes regret that.
Had no plans to have one - I wanted to bake cupcakes. My mother was horrified. It was the ONE thing she had an opinion on. After sharing her horror with her mother, my grandmother's husband (who I've never met in person) offered to buy us the cake. It was such a sweet, lovely gesture, and it made her happy, so I agreed.
Three layers (two would have sufficed, but we really had no idea how many were coming when it was ordered, because we hadn't gotten the No's from dh's family yet), chocolate with cherry filling. It was the most amazing cake I've ever had in my life. So pretty and sooooo good.

did you have any really funny or horriffic moments happen?
the reception was in this place called the "arcade" which is a really old building. it's a hotel now but also has stores in the middle. so essentially the upper floors were open to hotel guests and the public. we had a lot of people dance their ass off to the band on those floors, which was great.
i also kicked out wedding crashers.
