I gained 6 pounds in one week and...

just ordered a pizza for me and my little men for dinner.  My dr. said that most of that 6 pounds MUST be water retention because I am swollen like a beached whale, and will likely continue that way until the end.  Lovely, I remember with my twins I showered like 4 times a day when I got home, because there was just fluid oooozing out of everywhere.  Took about a week or two to get all of that fluid out of my body and to look somewhat human again.

    opps..i just gained 2 lbs in the last week. Seems like that has been the trend the past 3 weeks.

    Yes, that has to be water weight! :: Shutters at the thought of the amount of food you would have needed to eat to gain 6 lbs in one week ::

    In a way, I'm kind of jealous. I knew someone who three days after giving birth looked identical to how she looked before. She said that it turned out that all the weight gain was water.

    Yeah, I just gained 12 pounds in 2 weeks.  I have no idea how, I've been hungry and eaten a little bit more but not "that much."  I do feel a bit swollen but I feel like its too early for that.  The dr said to just be sure to get some more exercise and watch what I'm eating and if I'm still gaining at a bad rate in 2 weeks we need to get more serious...  I about bawled on the way home but am refocused on being healthy
