and get a few ounces and put in in the fridge, then pump a few hours later-can I add the milk together in the same bottle? Also, what about if I have two different bags of milk frozen? Can I add bags together if they are from the same day or from different days?

You should only combine cold with cold. So you pump #1, put in fridge. Pump #2. Instead of just dumping 2 into already cold 1, chill 2 then combine.
And yes you can combine frozen.
