Was your first dc still in his or her crib when your second came along... if so did you buy another crib. We are hoping to have 2 under 2 but dh is thinking we can use a toddler bed for DS and the crib we have right now for number 2... where I would like to buy another convertable crib that turns into a toddler bed and then a head board later on... WWYD. Obviously it's not something that is happening right now at this moment, we just where discussing it and I wanted opinions. TIA
Re: Mom's of 2 under 2
I don't know what to do, we do not have room for 2 cribs. C is SO not ready to leave the crib. I am ready to get J out of our room.
UGH!
Too bad they don't make bunk cribs. lol
Seriously though, I'm hoping if we end up with 2 under 2 that Stasa is moved to a big girl bed by then. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Well DD was 2 1/2 when we had DS but she was still in her crib during part of the pg. We had rec'd a toddler bed from friend but would still have to use the crib mattress. No biggie, would have to get another one but we just decided to go for a twin bed. We just figured it was something she'd need anyways. We put on a bed rail and I bought a step stool from Target and it's worked great.
The only problem at first is them getting in/out...and not being "caged" up. DD was starting to climb out of her crib anyways so it was time.
Yeah, I'm trying to think ahead, since we are going to start trying in June when Carter is 7 months... and if we are still here, we are going to have to move the computer/ spare bedroom stuff down into the basement which we have to clean out since it's being used as storage (750sq townhouse)... If we do that baby number 2 can fit into this room in their own crib, but I dunno...
Good luck Jar, you are a superstar that can handle it... you'll figure out a solution.
