    Reason I ask is I want to POAS Saturday if all goes well with my chart. DH is out of town and comes home Saturday morning (11ish). He says well just POAS when I get home (without FMU). I explained why this is bad. I told him I would pee in a cup and save it for when he comes home. He thinks this is gross. He then says well then POAS alone. But I know he is disappointed. I know I know I should wait until Sunday but I think my pee cup is the best option!

    I pee in a cup.  Then test.  Sometimes with, sometimes without him. 
    Not sure what direction we are headed. Either way, I am up for the ride.

    Since I've started charting, I've never actually O-ed, so I've never had a good reason to POAS. That's not to say that I don't do it anyway, just for the hell of it. Embarrassed But DH typically isn't involved.

    If I thought I had a good chance of actually getting a positive result, I would definitely pee in a cup and wait for him to get home. You could always just not tell him about the cup part - he doesn't have to know if you dipped or peed directly on the stick.

    This is what I should have done. Not told him. I have dollar tree tests/internet cheapies so I always pee in a cup first then use it. Hmm I shouldnt worry about it so early because who knows what the chart will look like Saturday, it is only Monday!

    when i was pg with dd, i poas at home and then when it was bfp, i threw it in my purse and drove it to dh

    I only told DH about the positive tests and I never tested while he was around.

    I usually just suddenly decide to test.  I don't tell him before I do it.  Sometimes I'll tell him afterwards, but not right away.  Just whenever it comes up, or af comes.  I don't think he cares that much either way.  I'll have to ask him.

     

    EDIT: I just asked him and he laughed at me. lol  I said, I just wanted to make sure because some dh liked to be involved in that part and some just want to be told when the bfp happens.  I said it's not like we have a habit of skip off to the bathroom together, and he started tryng to skip! HAHA  He's 6'2" and 285lbs!!  THAT was a funny site.  We come to an agreement that I'll just let him know when it happens! lol

    I have not POAS in the 8 cycles we have been trying. If I am ever late for AF, I will POAS and then probably look at the results together.

    when i got my BFP i POAS before a night of heavy drinking just to be safe. At that point i just knew it would be neagtive, so i didn't tell DH i was doing it, however when i picked it up i yelled "Oh my fvcking god!" and he came running, a which point i shoved it in his face and said "do you see a line or am i bat shiit crazy?". LOL, it wasn't what i had planned but it is what happened. From now on he is in the room with me when i get read the results.

    I POAS while he was with me.  I can't imagine finding out without him around, but that's just me.
