I am full of all kinds of sarcastic remarks for people when they say stupid things. I was just wondering if you had any that you really wish you had the guts to say but just can't.
I wish that I could tell someone that is telling me what I shouldn't be doing/eating "actually we didn't want this baby but couldn't afford an abortion, so this is my attempt at fixing the situation." But I just can't actually see myself saying that in fear of something actually happening to my LO. But it would be awesome to see the reaction....
Re: Smarta$$ replies you're not brave enough to actually use?
Could you imagian the look at the persons face if you said that!! OMG that would be great! I wish I could just kidney punch people when they stupid shiit!!
before i was pg, i would have never had the balls to say what i think.
my hormones have stripped away any self- censorship i may have had. it's bad. sometimes i feel like an ass for being so blunt.
Hahahaha. I would pay to see the look on someones face if you said that! Funny.As.Hell.
I just got my first stranger comment the other day, and it was just to ask when the baby was due.... Half of me can't wait for the stupid comments. I just hope I think fast enough to come up with a wise_ass reply.
I'm very outspoken, so I find it difficult to censor my comments when people say or do stupid things. Plus, these pregnancy hormones make it worse!
I was at Target today, standing in front of a row of party balloons, when a lady walks up and stands right in front of me! I wasn't even two inches from the bottom lip of the shelf, so I don't even know how she managed to squeeze her doughy physique in there. I was pretty pissed at this point...no ones buts in front of a pregnant girl who's in dire need of party supplies. So, I shoved my way back into my original spot and said, "Do you mind? All you had to do was say 'Excuse me' and I would have gladly made room."
Idiot.
LMAO at Cletus the Fetus! Love it!
I'm tempted to tell this to MIL when she asks about names because a few years ago we were joking about baby names and I mentioned something about naming our first born Bubba and she FLIPPED! Flat out threw a temper tantrum and then wouldn't speak to me for a week. So I'm thinking Cletus the Fetus would start WWIII.
I actually laughed out loud. That would teach her to make stupid comments.
Sarcasm is a gift that I hope our baby inherits.
