Does the lotion try to active the melanocytes in your skin (the cells that make your skin tan when you are outdoors)? If it does, then I wouldn't use it. Women who expose themselves to tanning can get melasma (darkened spots due to a combo of hormones and sun exposure). These spots can be permanent in some cases.
