Probably won't do much this summer as far as traveling. We will be going to North Dakota for a wedding at the beginning of April. Neither of us are really looking forward to it since it's such a long drive since I pee every 5 seconds, and the chances of it still being really cold and snowy are high.

QOTD: Yes we are all set to be heading to Hawaii the first week in April. I so cannot wait. I am looking so forward to getting some sun and relaxing all week.
I had my 18 week appt. yesterday and everything looked good and the babies HB was 150. We have the big U/S on the 27th and I am now counting down the days.

Yes. We are going to Mexico in a few weeks and then doing a more local getaway (we live in No. Cal) in June. By the way, my due date is August 4th and we found out that we are having a boy!
Hello! Well my munchkin likes to cause trouble! I had another bleeding scare yesterday & it turns out i have marginal placenta previa. So its luckily I will bleed again. The DR has left it in my shoes whether I go back to work, although 2 of them say they think it is fine, so I will probably try to work a bit longer.
I don't think we will be going on any vacations, esp now with this. Its safer to stay around here. We are hoping to travel soem next winter with the baby, we will see hoe we feel about that after the little one is here.

Friday QOTD: Are you still planning on going on vacation this summer?I'd love to go on an early summer vacation this year before this little baby arrives. i think DS would have a lot of fun down the shore this year. so we'll see...
Found out yesterday IT'S A BOY!!!!!
all my measurements came back good and they didn't find any markers for downs syndrome so that's great news. i have to go back in 2wks though b/c they couldn't get all the measurements of the heart.
it feels completely different finding out the sex this time around. it's great in one way b/c now i can concentrate on names and stuff but in another way it's like the excitement is gone. but i'm glad we found out this time and i'm glad we waited the first time.

I can't believe there aren't more girls in the August group!! Come on Team Pink. Although we're not finding out - it is fun to see what everyone else is having.
My work schedule gets pretty crazy around the summer so we usually take our anniversary vacation in June but I think this year we are thinking about doing a short weekend trip in May.
So lately I have been definitely been waking up really early. I guess this is my body adjusting to when the baby arrives. I just miss sleeping in but it is definitely worth the sacrifice.
Monday QOTD: How many times did you take your learners test? How about for your actual license? i passed the written test on the first try and it took about 7 tries before i passed the behind the wheel...
Wednesday QOTD: Were you in a Sorority in College? Which one? i was not
Friday QOTD: Are you still planning on going on vacation this summer?dh and i just got back from a mini vacation we took for our anniversary. we wont be going on any other trips until after the baby comes
First things first.... WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!!! A good friend got me the 2D ultrasound/gender prediction as a birthday gift and the tech was 99% sure. WHAT A GREAT GIFT!!!
And secondly, vacation... Living in Denver, summers are incredible here. So much so that we usually leave in the winter for vaca. Upcoming trips include... Dallas for a baby shower in May, New Orleans Jazz Fest in May (my husband will be there for business the entire 2 weeks so I am flying in for a long weekend:), And a wedding in Steamboat Springs in June!
We are going to Destin, FL in April for a "babymoon" and our 5 year anniversary. I can't wait to get back to the beach!!! We used to live near the OBX of NC before moving to Atlanta.
We had our monthly check up on Wed. and everything is looking great! The dr. asked if we wanted to find out the gender, but since we said no, she didn't even go around that area during our u/s. Our big u/s is scheduled for March 21 and we're excited for that! I'm just excited to not have to wait another month to see the baby again
We were going to go to San Diego in May, but decided we would go home to Tennessee in June instead since our families want to have baby showers for us. We were also going to go on a long weekend to Austin, but we got tickets to the Astros exhibition games. So instead, I booked 2 nights at a nice downtown hotel and we will have a mini-getaway. DH is really trying to save up his vacation time (he gets 3 weeks a year) for after the baby comes. I know my family is planning on coming down after the birth and probably my MIL, so I've told him he can go back to work until everyone leaves as that's when I'll really need the help when I'm left alone with the baby! So he will be taking a week or so off after everyone else is gone!
I am, however, going on a weekend scrapbooking retreat in May. I just booked that yesterday and I'm super excited to do something like this before the baby comes!
Are you still planning on going on vacation this summer?
Yes, we're going camping (I might have to punk out and get an inflatable mattress for our tent lol) and to my grandparent's house at the beach. Nothing too extravagant but I would go crazy just sitting around the house all summer long. I haven't been able to go skiing this winter, I'll be darned if I'm going to waste some beautiful hiking weather
I can't afford to take any vacation days as I have to save them all up for maternity leave - but we are planning on going to the beach for a weekend in June!
We're having a BOY!!! I am measuring further than I thought, but only by a few days so I am keeping my EDD at 8/6/09.
We are most definitely not going on vacation this summer. I'm going to miss my sister's July wedding in Wisconsin because I don't want to travel that close to giving birth. We plan on doing a Christmas vacation though!
Friday QOTD: Are you still planning on going on vacation this summer??
I don't think so, although I'd love to. ?2 yr. anniversary is coming up in July, but since baby's coming in August, I think I'll be staying put. ?Maybe after baby is a few months old we can think about traveling. ?I keep having this recurring dream about hubby, baby, and me playing on the beach in Hawaii, hopefully that dream will come true. ?Then we can show baby where mommy and daddy got married. ?=)
Anyways, please add me to the list. ?I am due on Aug. 2 and next week we will be having our big u/s and hopefully will find out if we're having a boy or girl. ?Can't wait!
No vacations for us! We have weddings all summer long. Boo! Although my family has a lake house in the Adirondacks (Northern NY) so we will hopefully spend some time up there!
You can add me to the list too - I'm due August 17th, and it's going to be a surprise!
We will probably plan a few weekends away this year, but no big trips! We got the travel bug out of our systems over the last few years in preparation and hope to go somewhere with the baby next winter.
Had our 16 week appt on Tuesday and all looks good - our big ultrasound is on the 17th - can't wait!
Also decided this week that we'll be switching from my current OB/GYN to a midwife and a different hospital, so it's a relief to have that decision made!
QOTD: Nope, unfortunately DH got laid off this week, and I lost my job Jan 1, so now, even with a generous tax refund, we're going to play it safe and not do anything exotic for vacation... but we might still do day-trips close to home, and I'll be going to our hometown (3 hours south of here) on the long weekends (Easter, May 2-4, July 1st)... the August Civic holiday is when I'm due!!! so we won't go anywhere then.
Update: we're going home tonight for the weekend... haven't been home since Jan 10 so it'll be nice to see Grandma and aunts and uncles and my parents and my best friend. It's a 3 hour trip - going to see if we can make it on one bathroom break, not three. :S
Have a great weekend!

QOTD: No vacation planned this summer. My DH gets home from a military assignment the first week in June, and I'm due the first week in August. During the time in between, we will probably just enjoy being home together and preparing for our little one.
Trying (in vain) to feel the babies move- I think I'd feel reassured that everything is ok! I miss going to the RE's office every week!
We're doing little trips- Boston to see our London friends (and the sox) Baltimore (to see the sox) and the beach (where we will listen to the sox play!) (can you guess what team DH LOVES?????)
QOTD: We are really not planning on going on vacation this summer. We are taking our last trip to visit our family in the east coast when I go on spring break on April.
We cheated and got a 3d ultrasound and found out we are on TEAM PINK!!!!
Unfortunately... no! The DH is saving his days off for the baby, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to want to travel in July since that would be the only time we'd have available.

We scheduled our big U/S for March 19th. I can't wait!
