So I just got back from an OB apt and apparently my fundal height measurement is big. My doc said if I continue to grow at this rate they will do a 3rd tri growth u/s to determine fetal weight.
Anyone else experience this? Does this mean I may deliver before my EDD, or just that my baby might be BIG? I'm kinda nervous now!
Re: Measuring ahead = early delivery? Or just big baby?
Just a big baby.

It can mean nothing at all. They thought my son would be well over 10 pounds. He was 8lbs8oz. He's long as hell though, so maybe that's how they got confused, I don't know.
Take it all with a grain of salt. Maybe your kiddo likes to stretch out and swim around more.
Neither in my case...I measured ahead from 28 weeks and started getting extra growth ultra sounds and DD came at 39 weeks and only 7lbs.
Just know that your body and the doctors will help you handle getting the baby out so try not to worry.
A week before I delivered my growth ultrasound predicted an 8lb baby. My ob didnt believe it but I knew she was going to be a big one! Almost a week after the u/s I delivered an 8.8lb baby so the u/s was right on! So now you have finally met someone who was predicted to have a christmas ham and actually have one! lol
Could be either one...could be neither one. Fundal height is just an estimate, even growth u/s can be off.
However, I started measuring ahead (fundal and u/s) at 32 weeks and my baby came at 37 weeks. So, there is hope!
