  Apple juice usually does the trick for DD.

  Is he having rice cereal??  If so, try oatmeal.  DS was having horrible constipation from the rice.  For immediate relief, I would use a suppository or several ounces of pear juice.

  1st I would try the juice, then the prunes...the prunes are a miracle worker...i.e. be prepared for tons and tons of poop.

  Also, move to oatmeal if you are giving DC rice cereal.
