question on OPK's...I need to be committed already!
Ok...so kinda long, but I need help before I pull my hair out... I don't mean to sound crazy, but i am starting to go there and need you guys to reign me in...
here goes...I bought a kit of the 7 day opk--the Answer brand...started last week...got what seemed to be two lines EVERY time I tested with each day the test line seeming to be getting darker...but on Sunday morning(i used FMU on Fri, Sat and Sun bc we were outta town and that just was the easiest--but I did night time test too:) ) I got two perfectly pink equally dark lines that looked exactly the same.....Sunday night when I got home the line seemed to go back to faint and def not dark, and I just tested again tonight--it was my last stick and I was like..what the hell...lets use em up...and the line is still there, but faint and DEF not the dark pink same as test line line that was there Sunday morning(they were perfectly equal and I even made DH confirm)....since this is my first mo. using the test I am so confused as to WHAT the heck it all means...
If I got bright pink evenly distributed lines on Sunday morning, but Sun night and tonight it was faint/somewhat there...what does that mean?
my day 14 would have been on Saturday, most calendars put me O'ing on Sunday (CD 15) and the bump says I am o'ing today...grrrr....so confusing sometimes!! I felt a little cramping last night like I might be o'ing--but was it all in my head?? I am temping and my temps haven't risen the 1 degree they did last month..I am praying they do in the am so I will know that I have o'd....
I am trying so hard not to stress and just let it happen, but I thought I would ask what all that means in regards to the OPk's...I am def confused...I am so praying for my turkey baby, but if for some reason I o'd on Saturday and we didn't FWP till this morning.....do you think Thursday's session before we went on the trip is enough? we had been fwp every other day before then and the trip screwed up everything...i am so modest and the thin walls freaked me out a little...any help you guys can provide would rock!

OPKs are only positive if the line is as dark as the control line or darker.
It says that on the instructions too. Good luck!
yeah, I saw that on the instructions, but just curious as to why I would get a positive in the am, and then not in the pm?? and it doesn't help that I am beating myself up bc i had this great plan to fwp all weekend and it just went out the window when i saw our close quarters:(
I am thinking maybe since I took them in the AM on Fri, Sat and Sun that maybe my surge started Sat night....or maybe I should just quit thinking about it and pray that whatever is meant to be will happen:) haha..but we all know that is hard....I am just an OPK virgin and so confused as to how they can change in 12 hours if the instructions say you will o in next 12-36 hours...weird...thanks Luvs! Also, on a side note, i have been thinking about you and praying for you every day...your story touched my heart and I hope you are doing better with every day....
I would say you ovulated today! OPK's are positive about 12-24 hours before you ovulate.
STOP PEEING ON THINGS! Ha. Go just DH one more time for luck.
if you got a positive in the am but not in the pm, could be that your surge was still going on in the morning but had finished by the time you tested in the pm.
