Pediatric Ophthomalogist? Anyone been?

We have an appointment with the pediatric ophthomalogist tomorrow morning to check Nadia's eyes... Anyone have any experience with this before? I'm curious as to what to expect...

We are seeing Dr. Cardone in Pembroke Pines.

    we went when mady was around 6.5 months old. dr villar had sent us b.c she noticed a less red eye reflex in one eye vs the other.

    we met with dr dorfman (his info is in my blog...i think under the oct or nov archives).

    anyway they will most likely dialate her eyes if she needs a full exam. mady did great and dr villar's concern was just that...a concern. we had nothing to worry about.

    nadia will be fine im sure!

    We also saw Dr. Dorfman. Our pedi (also Dr. Villar) wanted to rule out Mikey's eyes being the cause of his tilt. He was dilated, but was fine with it. The doctor and nurses there were GREAT with him. Turns out his eyes were perfectly fine.

    We went when Noah was young.  They dialated his eyes and examined them.  It wasn't the most enjoyable thing he's ever been through but it was fine.  Good luck!

    Dr. Dorfman at the Dan Marino Center in Weston.  They are great there!!!!
