Stay out of the @#$% garbage can!!!

Tell me I don't have the only garbage picker. ?It started a couple of days ago and at first I was amazed that she knew how to push on the foot pedal and then jump up and peer inside. ?But that soon escalated to REACHING inside. ?Ugh. ?Now I can't keep her out of it.

I know it's a phase and soon the novelty of it will wear off but it's grossing me out. ? ?

    You are definitely not the only one. DS just figured it out too the other day. Not only is he picking stuff out of it but he is throwing stuff in it, so we constantly have to check to make sure he didn't throw something away that he shouldn't have. We don't have a foot pedal one and was about to go out and buy it but looks like that probably won't solve our problems. Tongue Tied

    ben loves the trash can!  and gets very upset when we tell him no and take him away from it.  we re visiting my parents this weekend and i m interested to see if the system they devised to keep the cats out will keep ben out too.  (they just have a lift to toss top which the cats would get on and fall into the can, so dad added a bar under the lid that keeps in from dropping down.  we ll see if ben figures out to lift up.  nothing like a new challenge.)

    We call DS Goat-Boy b/c he wants to get in the trash can SOOOO badly and take everything out.  That's why our trash and recycle cans in the office are up on the desk!

    Haha- I'm glad I'm not the only one.  This morning I found Madison licking an empty jelly jar that she grabbed out of the trash.  Gotta love them!!
