why do boys save everything!?

Boxes for boardgames, with no game in sight! Socks that only have one sock, no match! Clothes 4 sizes too smal!!

Ugh! The older boys went with their mom for a bit today so I started cleaning their room- like deep cleaning, and Tyler has shirts and sweatshirts that are a size 10! I know he doesn't and couldn't wear them anymore- but he keeps them anyways! So they are now in a bag for him to give to goodwill.

My goodness the amount of stuff I have already gotten out of their room is disturbing! lol

    Oh, it isnt just a boy thing. It must be an age thing. How old are they?

     My 9yo wants to save E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! I went thru her bathroom the other day and under her sink was an empty milk carton, a "pretty" arizona ice tea jug, broken hair ties...it was all garbage in my eyes but she wanted it for certain reasons.

    They are 6 and 14. The 14 year old we have to watch, he has a tendency (sp?) to hoard things, so I put stuff in boxes and he has to go through them with his dad, but man, there room is so much bigger without all the crap!

    My brother used to collect things too.  All sorts of things from baseball cards to straws from McDonalds.  I think boys are just wierd:)
