NE1 tried the Kohl's words on a wall?

They are those phrases you can put on the wall by scratching them on with an applicator.  Kind of like Uppercase Living.  I  bought a phrase at Kohls and am going to put them on a dark wall (since the words are white).  Do they work well?  NE1 have trouble putting them on?  I would hate to mess up my wall and have to repaint.  ;)

    I have some of them on DD #2's wall, but they aren't sticking properly and keep peeling off.  It does have a warning on the directions that it might not stick to certain paints. We used a washable, semi-gloss paint.  I think I'm going to go to Michael's and get stencils instead.

    Hmm...I think my paint is eggshell finish...I'm worried I am going to ruin the wall.  Is it easy to take it off then without peeling your paint?

    Yes, that's the point, they peel off easily and don't damage your wall.  They are the one's in the cylinders with sayings like "shh...baby dreaming, etc." ?  I think they would work much better on an eggshell finish.

    I haven't, but I highly recommend Uppercase Living.  I have applied them to the walls of many friends and family, all different paints and wall textures, and have never had a problem.

    LSL--thanks!  That is exactly what I was hoping for...if it doesn't work I can just peel them off and call it a day.

    I looked at UL too...and almost decided to rep for them.  But I had a Kohls credit and thought I would try these.  When I redo my kitchen, I'll probably do an UL saying somewhere...someday.
