we have two, too difficult to take it from one car to another. I hate putting strapping them in, I'm always scratching myself up or getting my hand hurt, and when I finally get it tight enough, I don't ever want to take it out, in fear, i can't get it that tight again.
I actually have 3--one for me, one for DH, and one for my parents. She is in daycare and anyone of us could be picking her up. It would be too much of a hassle to take it out everyday. But that is just me.
I have 4. Now way I'm moving them if I don't have to.

We have one. But, I SAH and do most of the driving. It will be a pain to move to DH's car if we ever have to do it, because his car doesn't have LATCH.
We have two. DH takes DD to daycare in the mornings and I pick her up. We work different schedules and moving a car seat back and forth would be a major pain.
when we get one, we are only getting one. I SAH so DD is usually only in my car. I can probably count on one hand the number of times she has been in DH's car since she was born. If she was in both cars on a more regular basis, we'd get two.
we do not but only because my husband leaves before me and comes home later than me, he never picks the baby up. On the weekends, we usually drive my truck.
We do have a carseat in each grams car though since they each watch him twice a week

Right now we have 1 because I SAH, but we will be getting one for DH's car, since he has an SUV and we will need his car for trips (my ILs live out-of-state). If we both had cars the same size, we probably wouldn't get another.
I just bought a convertible seat for my car. DH has only picked up DS in his car from day care maybe 5 times, and he'd just snap the infant seat in his car. We didn't even have the extra base - would have been a waste of money and they work without it. Anyway, if DH wants a seat for his car, he can go buy one.
We have 3, I have 1 in my car, DH has 1 in his car and my parents have one in their car because my mom watches him durring the day. There is no way I want to switch them out all the time.
We do. But eventually, we'll just have the "kid car" when there are more kids and we'll put both of these in the same car. We figured in the meantime we'll have one in each car to give us more options.

Right now we only have one. We haven't installed it yet, but I'd really rather not have to buy a second car seat. We'll just try to stick to me driving when DS is with us.
My parents watch him sometimes, but my mom has already said that she will buy her own car seat.

We have just one. We switch it if we need to. But I only work 1 morning a week. So its not a big deal. Maybe when I am working more or we have more money we can buy another one. But for now, it is working just fine.
Right now we have one in each car... when the new baby comes we will only have carseats in one car and that will be the only car they ride in. Since I SAH for the most part, it won't be a issue. DH will take his car to work and that will be carseat free. If he is ever home with the kids, then I will leave the "baby car" with him.
We have four - two in each car. I drop the girls off at daycare two days a week and DH picks them up. Depending upon where we are going, sometimes we use my SUV and
