My mom hates turkey, so growing up, we had chicken and dressing. My stepdad has started buying a fried turkey the past few years. Ham is for Christmas in my house. :-)

Yes! It's the only day of the year DH willingly shops with me!

I started a bit early, but the tree won't go up until this weekend.

1. Whats your favorite dish for thanksgiving? Least favorite? Favorite: turkey, dressing and cranberry sauce; Least favorite: green bean casserole.
2. Favorite thanksgiving tradition? When I was a kid we had a progressive Thanksgiving dinner between 4 families. We'd start out in the late morning for appetizers at one house, the main meal at another house later that afternoon, and by evening we'd be at a third house for dessert. But, that ended sometime after I graduated high school. Now my inlaws rent a lake cabin for the weekend, which has started to become a family tradition.

4. Shopping on black friday? Yes! That is a big Thanksgiving Day tradition for me!

well me and my mom get out and about just because we like shopping...but do I get up way early and stand in line and fight the little old lady with the pocketbook or the crazy person for the latest rage? HELL NO! 
5. Decorate for Christmas on or before thanksgiving or always after? We always decorate the day after in the afternoon and evening while watching a Christmas movie

Yes...but not at the crack of dawn...now that I have DS I can say..."we'll go when he gets up"...I am not an early riser...

2. Favorite thanksgiving tradition? Eating like a pig and then everyone taking a nap afterwards
3. Turkey or Ham? Both. But the leftover turkey is good for turkey apple sandwiches. BEST sandwich ever.

1. Whats your favorite dish for thanksgiving? Least favorite? "STUFFING" - yes, it's STUFFING around my parts - it's a bread base instead of cornbread like y'all have down here. I like mine w/ wild rice, apples and craisins - yum! and pumpkin pie!!! Least favorite? I hate to say it but "Dressing" - eew.
2. Favorite thanksgiving tradition? I love my thanksgivings at home. We have our friends over (we don't have family that we're close to) and it's a huge potluck and it's totally unorganized and casual. Thanksgiving in HSV is stressful due to divorced parents and stuffy in-laws
3. Turkey or Ham? I cant imagine not having turkey on thanksgiving but truth be told I really don't like turkey that much
