Does anyone else watch 'How It's Made?'  I'm fascinated.

Am I nerdy?  Or just bored because DH left me home alone with a jug of egg nog and a bottle of whiskey...

I love those kinds of shows. I haven't seen this one, but I'd probably love it. I remember the old Mr. Rogers episode where they go to the crayola factory and watch crayons being made.

I like watching it, but the guy that does the narration really works my nerves. Have you seen the new show time warped? That's pretty neat too.

The music borders on 80s porn music, and they walk you through the manufacturing of the most random items you could think of: pantyhose, nails, staples, copy paper.  They just finished showing us how safety goggles are made.

DH tivos both mythbusters and "how it's made" but I can only watch them now and again because i've seen about a million episodes of each already.

Yeah it's a really simple concept, but very entertaining.

Love it!  Every time DH and I watch that or How It's Made, we snicker about dirty things we'd like to see filmed/made.lol.

There's a similar show the the Food Network that shows how different types of food are made, but I can't remember the name of it
