Yes! Dh and I speak Spanish although DH did not grow up speaking it as much. He is of Puerto Rican Heritage and my family is Dominican. We hope to instill Latino values and culture into our children.

I don't know another language, but my husband speaks Spanish with his family. We will be teaching our kids to speak Spanish because we want them to appreciate that part of their culture and also because I feel that it is so important to know a 2nd language.
My dh speaks another language but I am probably more intent on teaching it to baby than he is. I am trying to learn it better so I can say things to the baby in it. I want him to be able to converse in both. My husband is fluent but takes it so for granted and I don't want our little one to lose out on his valuable heritage.
