I just bought the britax boulevard and it came with a tether.  what is it for?  where do you put it?

    It's an extra safety attachment that hooks the seat either to the floor when rear-facing or to the back somewhere when forward facing. The Britax manual explains it and you have to check your car manual to see where to attach it properly.

    I tell everyone this, but convertible carseats are pretty intense to install the first time.  Please make sure you get it inspected by a profesional before you start using it.
