Help...does Gap run big or small (ladies sizes)?

Do I order true to size, up or down for Gap clothes? Specifically shirts/sweaters....maybe pants (for myself, not the boys for once!)

They are usually pretty true to size for me.

Shirts are pretty true to size.  As are dresses.  Pants run big, I think.  I always end up sizing 1-2 sizes smaller in their pants.

They seem true to size to me.  If anything, some things might run a bit big, but not enough to size down on, IMO.

So if you're in between sizes, order down.

I'm also finding recently that Gap pants do run a bit big, so definitely order down on those.
