Did not see one of these yet And had to start it. Let's hear all of your WTFs.

Mine is that I am currently out of town for one day to interview for a new job since we have to move next July for my DH. I was told my first interview was at 12:30, so I slept in. I got a call at 8:15 asking where I was because HR had apparently scheduled me for another interview at 8:30 but didn't tell me! Now it looks bad on me when it definitely was not my fault! I even went back through my email and there was nothing about another meeting added on! Ugh. I am annoyed!

My Wtf involves my mil. My mom and two of my good friends who were my bridesmaids are throwing my shower. My mil keeps calling and asking me about details and trying to take over. I'm not the one throwing my shower! Stop asking me for details! I don't know!

Also, every time I see my mil she asks how much weight I have put on once my husband is not in the room. It enrages me. Last time she asked I told her I don't know and she got annoyed with me and said how do you not know, your doc should tell you. I stuck with well just don't know.

My WTF is to my father.

My parents are divorced. He lives in Hawaii, but has been planning to fly out to meet LO in April. That part I don't mind. I like my dad, he's usually good with boundaries. He just called and was making plans, but refuses to visit me at my house because my mom also lives here. He is insisting that I come OUT to meet him.. you know, with a days old newborn and myself still healing. I told him that would not be possible and he could just visit me at home.. he told me that I'm unreasonable and selfish and that maybe he just won't meet his grandson.

I'm so hurt and let down. He really can't let his bullshit go to be with me and celebrate the happiest time of my life?

I had an argument today with my real estate agent that was very "WTF".

To recap, I am living in WA and selling my house in MA. I can't go to my house to do anything, so I have to rely on my real estate agent and my sister-in-law.

Our heat was not working at 100% last week and so it was in the mid 40s in the house and below 20 outside. This went on for 5 days before we could get the heating people to come fix it. It never went below 40 degrees.

My real estate agent thought that cranking the heat 20 degrees higher on the thermostats would somehow trick the broken heater in to working better. It did not. But the biggest thing was that she was convinced that the pipes could have frozen in this time that the house was in the 40s. Many times I have said it's not possible because water freezes at 32 degrees. She said to me "That's how it works in theory but not always in practice."

It's basic science not theoretical physics! GAH! I had to just stop talking at that point.

WTF? How did I just eat the entire pan of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls and not think twice about it. Stepping on the scale tomorrow morning at my 24 week appointment should be interesting.

WTF MIL who just texted my husband to ask how attached I was to the bedding we registered for because she didn't like it and wants to get another set! "It's not my taste" is what she told him!! The fuck?!? It's not for you!

There's a TON of stray dogs where I live. A special coworker, K, brought me a bag of dog food & treats to work that her dog didn't like, as I feed the homeless dogs.

A coworker came to my desk while I'm eating lunch, obviously busy stuffing my face, to ask where another person is. Then she says, "Oh, you eat dog food" and proceeds to point to the small bag on a shelf at my desk. She follows it up with, "I thought maybe that's why the baby was getting so big". There was no joking in her voice.

WTF is wrong with this woman? She's the same one that commented on me getting "huge" a week ago. I tried to ignore her after the first comment today, but she still stood at my desk and followed it up with the second one. I told her I didn't have time for rudeness today nor was I the keeper of my other coworker then turned my back to her and continued eating my lunch.

Grrrrr......that's all.

That's awful. I got a call from DH yesterday and his mom and sister don't speak, he had a phone call with his mother yesterday where she kinda pulled this same crap. She said if my SIL is at our house or events she will not come or will leave. DH said he it so upset and basically told his mother she can either act like a mature adult or not be a part of her grand daughters life. She hung up crying. Now he feels bad for standing his ground. He doesn't feel his family's bs fued should affect our kid. I agree with him, but it's not always just that easy.

Not sure if this is more WTF Wednesday or just a bitchfest, but here goes. I'm sitting here at work listening to this guy, this 60+ year old man, complain about everything. I swear, if I gave this man a check for $1,000,000 he would bitch about the taxes. And his latest is whining about recent medical procedures (he had his gallbladder out and is getting the staples out tomorrow), talking about how he's so scared about this and that, while he's drinking beer. Um, if you were so concerned about your health, do you think it might be a good idea not to drink 7+ beers a day, every day, and then go home to drink more? He's also complaining about his apartment (which is attached to the bar, and my bosses/surrogate parents are his landlords) and the possibility that the furnace might go out tonight and he'll be "all alone and exposed to the elements." Um, ok. First of all, you wouldn't be exposed to the elements because you'll be within the four walls and roof of your apartment. Second, your ginormous beer gut ought to act as insulation so you wouldn't freeze to death even if you WERE exposed to the elements. Third, I know what you're supposed to be paying for your apartment (trust me, it's a steal) and that more than half the time you're either late on your rent or you don't pay at all, and yet you haven't been evicted because your landlords are awesome people with big, soft hearts who don't want to kick you out. Meanwhile, while you sit and bitch, you haven't worked in the 6 years I've known you. Instead, you sit around and bitch about everything and nothing is ever your fault. Of course, I can't say any of this because I'm the bartender. I can't tell him I think he's a miserable, alcoholic, waste of a person who needs to just shut the fuck up. But oh, how I want to. Instead, I have to stand here and pretend to sympathize, let him think I understand where he's coming from and that he's right, and keep my opinions to myself. All so I can collect the $1 he's going to tip me after listening to him bitch for hours. Because, y'know, he doesn't have any money so he can't afford to give me more.

I guess this is more of a bitchfest than a WTF. Sorry. But I feel better now.

WTF boss.... You say you want a nanny who will make her own decisions for the best interest of the kids and raise the kids with discipline and that you won't step in and usurp my authority, and yet, after I tell the kids they don't need to watch TV until later, you go ahead and turn it on for them anyway. Thanks for letting your kids know that what I say doesn't hold up and they can go to you for whatever they want.... It makes me real excited for these last few months of work...

WTF the plasterer who was suppose to be here tomorrow at 8 is now blowing us off AGAIN- he was suppose to come the beginning of Dec. we emptied out the living room then and now... Okay I mostly did and killed myself doing it and now he can't come. First time he pushed us off for over a month be cause he got another job willing to pay more- guess $1600 CASH here for just a ceiling is not a big enough job. Ugh. What's worse is this is a requirement for insurance to redo our ceiling or they will drop our house insurance among other projects and we had to ask for an extension already due to plasterer. I'm stressing we will loose house insurance at the rate we are going and I do NOT want to waste almost $2k on someone who might do a bad job. At least this one I know can achieve smooth walls. Oh no! That sounds like SPD! A heating pad on low helps a bit and regular prenatal yoga! Also Babies R Us has a nice maternity belt for about 30ish bucks that helps!

My WTF is while parking in the hot mess of a parking garage at my OB's office today, right as I got out of my car (they were making everyone valet because the garage was so full) someone hit the back of my car while making an 8 pt turn, because she was too impatient to wait. She started to drive off, and I ran (which I shouldn't have, part of the whole reason I was at the appt int he first place!) after her yelling "You hit my car!!" and luckily a car pulled in front of her to stop her. She denied it and told me I was out of line! I told her she was out of line for hitting my car and driving off, which is considered a hit and run.

Luckily, someone saw the whole thing and gave me their business card and stated they would be a witness. But WTF? I am still so heated.

@shortskirtlongjacket Haha, to be honest I thought it was crazy enough chasing a car through a parking garage.. and things got a little weird when the man who pulled in front of her car yelled at her "If you hit my car I will shoot you, I'm from Oakland!" It was at that point, I decided it was best to probably walk away....

My car isn't that bad, just a dent and lots of scratches on the bumper.

WTF co-workers who think it is necessary to tell me literally every single day that I'm showing/getting bigger. Obviously that's what happens at 6 months pregnant. It gets so old!! And personally, I'm don't even think I'm showing that much, especially in my scrubs. They are very forgiving. I'm right on track with weight gain and I have a long torso which helps everything spread out a little. I'm just so tired of hearing it. My response to every one of them every single time is a very unenthused "Yeah. I am." and walk away. Cue bitchface, which is my normal resting face anyway.

wtf Kennedy (my dog). I go down 24 flights of stairs with 3 layers of clothes to take him out in negative degree weather and like an hour later he's begging to go out again after he already went three times the first time. So I have to go through the 20 min process of getting us both weather ready again. Hopefully he won't need to go out again tonight after this, although I'm doubtful for that.

Could be worse though I suppose, he could just be going all over the carpet instead.

WTF scale at the doctors office, I weighed myself this morning before I left with clothes on and everything and its 4 lbs off from mine. I know mine is accurate based on weighing my husbands weights on there, and he had a weigh in at work recently and it was the same. Soooo annoying since now my MW thinks I'm gaining to much to fast. I did mention it at my 20 week that I thought their scales were off because I weigh myself once a week and have been on track at home. She didn't say much because she knew I was on vacation and with holidays. I just need to get back on track. It's really annoying the shit out of me though.

2, WTF co workers! I've been on vacation for 3 weeks and most of my greetings today is "Wow, you've gained weight!" "you look so big!" I do not want to hear that after just coming from my OB appointment. Who the hell says you've gained weight? Of course I have, I'm growing a human? I honestly think they don't think I should have a baby bump.

Wtf acid reflux! I literally woke up choking on acid, ran to throw up or try and cough up the acid that went down my windpipe. Scared the shit out of me. Couldn't breathe and I panicked.
