Best flooring option?!

Ok ladies I know I'm not the only one in the world with a tile floor in the kitchen and a toddler, but how in the he** do you keep them from falling in there all the time.. It seems like he falls at least once or twice a day and it never fails that he always gets a fat lip - Amy suggestions on something that can go in there (high traffic area) I was thinking one of those foam abc mats but I think it will get ruined so fast from everyone walking on it and the dog..any ideas?! Ready go!

  • I put the rubber floor tiles in the kitchen for the big part of the area he plays in. Pretty cushy

We don't have tile, but we do have hardwoods in the entire house. Aside from the area rugs we already had, I didn't do anything. They fall.

Same here.  Now that it's warm out, he goes around barefoot so he has a good grip with this feet.  When it starts getting cool again and he needs to wear socks, I'll probably just look for the kind with the little grippers on the bottoms.  He falls sometimes but he gets over it pretty quickly.
