So...I haven't been back on here much since we were in our TWW with IUI #2. It was a BFN! The good news being we didn't have the problems that we had the first time, so we were able to try again that next cycle. Unfortunately it was also a BFN!
So now it is back to try again, but this time it will have to be with new donor sperm because our first guy was all gone. We are both actually happier with our 2nd choice, so maybe this will be the right guy! I have always said from day 1 of trying that we would get our "sticky bean" on IUI #4. I hope I am right! Fingers are super crossed, along with legs, arms, toes, ankles, hair in braids...YOU NAME IT!
We have decided on names we both really like for both a boy and a girl. We cried when we said the boys name so we knew it was perfect. We decided on Jeremy Thomas. Thomas was my dad's first name and he died in Feb. 2006 from complications with dialysis related to his diabetes.
We have a close friend named Emily and we both LOVE that name. Sarah's mom's middle name is Lee, so we decided on Emma Lee if it is a girl! This part has been super fun. It was also a great way to help time go faster during our TWW. I also found that spending time on Pinterest (while highly addicting) is very therapeutic! Mostly looking at cute baby picture ideas and nursery decor and colors.
We think we are going to do a Winnie the Pooh nursery. We have always had this thing where I call her Pooh Bear and she calls me Honey. For our 1 year anniversary she bought me the prettiest snow globe of Winnie the Pooh that plays the Hundred Acre Woods song. I can't wait to put it on a shelf in their room.
I've also been thinking out about much fun twins would/could be (this is a high possibility as twins run in her family and we are using fertility meds). The thought scares me to death, but is also exciting. We have a family friend with twins and they are so much fun to watch grow up and interact. They are 1 boy and 1 girl....Aiden and Allie.
Not looking forward to returning back to work at the end of this week! My track out was wayyyyy tooo short! Being a teacher can be rewarding, but man it stinks when you only get 2 weeks off when your other teacher friends are out of school for the summer. I tell myself the Oct. and Dec. track outs are what make it great! We usually go to the beach at the start of Oct. for a week over the 3 week track out. In Dec. we usually go home to WV. for 2 weeks to see our families since I have 5.5 weeks off.
Hopeing the next few weeks FLY by.

I want twins, too! I always joke that it's because I'd get two for the price of one - financially, physically, and emotionally. But the real reason I want them is because I want my kids to be close, emotionally. And from my understanding twins almost always have a special bond, and I really, really want that for them. My brothers and I aren't terribly close and I'm always jealous of others who are close to their siblings. I want that for our kids so that when they grow up they'll always have each other. I don't know how to foster that between kids who are first born, middle, youngest, etc. I kind of want 3 kids... KIND OF. We'll see how I cope with 1. Or 2. If I had triplets, I think I'd have a heart attack. The thought of having twins is a little scary just because I've never raised one baby before, let alone two. But three? YIKES!!! We'd both have to have our moms move in with us for the first month or so until we got our bearings.
