Swollen eyelid??

Yesterday we spent a lot of time outside and one of my girls got a few bug bites and it seems that she may have gotten one on her eyelid?!?!  Above her eye was red this morning when she woke up and throughout the day has gotten swollen.  We were at the beach all day so when we got home I gave her some benadryl to hopefully bring down the swelling.  Does anyone have any other suggestions?  Is this something I should call the Pedi about in the morning if it's still swollen??

Did you have sunblock on LO's face? I had to try 5 different kids "tear free" when we went on vacation in Feb before I found one that didn't swell LO's eyes right up! I would hold your kid over the sink and flush the eye out with water too. No harm in calling the doctor when they open if it still is swollen, or hasn't gone done at all.

LO got a bug bite on his eye the other day and his eye swelled up during the night. He looked like he had lost a fight. 

Anyway, the swelling was gone by the next day. I would say if it's not gone by tomorrow you could call the pedi. We didn't do anything at all for the bite and the swelling just went away on it's own.
