Found a stray cat hiding in a car engine at work, after saving it it viciously attacked my hand, sending me to the ER after calling my nurse. Will keep yall updated!

So I've learned a lot...and now have to go to a different hospital not an urgent care clinic like I was just at to most likely go through rabies vaccines. What. A. Day.

Well I spent a total of 7 hours in the ER and was administered 6 shots for rabies vaccines. Was told nothing will affect the baby whatsoever, and felt even better that its the hospital that our baby will be born in and my dad works in, so he's good friends with the ER doctor that I had. I have to go in 4 moretimes for adadditional shots in the next 2 weeks.

Scared, I asked him if his wife was pregnant if he would make her go through this and he said yes, because even tho rabies is super rare in cats, he wouldn't take the risk. Lots of tears of pain later and I'm finally going to bed. Thanks for all the positive thoughts!
