I could really use your opinions. We are due in 10 days and having trouble agreeing on names.

what do you think of:

Boy:

Thomas

Colby( nn cole)

Graham ( DH not a huge fan )

 Girl:

Evelyn

Mya

Hallie

Any suggestions for middle names would also be appreciated!

We're team green as well, and Thomas is our top boy name! I also like the name Cole, but I kind of despise Colby for some reason. I don't know why. That probably doesn't help you much. Graham is cute, I guess, but I think it's trendy right now so I'd personally steer clear. Don't know if that bothers you.

Evelyn is one of those names coming back into style that I still can't picture on a baby. To me it's just an old lady name. And there are a ton of old fashioned names that I am loving, this one just isn't cutting it for me. Mya is cute, but again, trendy. I like the spelling Maiah better, I think. Hallie is cute and seems underused to me. I really like it. It's my favorite from your list!

What about combining what you have?

Evelyn Mya

I would narrow it down to 2 boy names and 2 girl names and take those to the hospital. Decide between the 2 names which one your baby looks like.

From your list I like Thomas, Graham, Mya, Evelyn

Thomas and Evelyn all the way. I like Graham as well, but if your H doesn't, I wouldn't recommend it. The others are all too trendy and don't age well.

I like Cole on it's own and not as a NN and love, love Halle but spelled without the i.

Okay... weird. Are you sure we're not the same person?? Those are my favorite names!!

Our first son will be Thomas Allen (DH wants "Allyn", but I want the traditional spelling).

I love Colby! I like Colby Noah

My favorites are Graham and Mya, but I prefer the spellings Graeme and Maya. I like Cole, but find Colby too cutesy and too "cheesy".... Pardon the pun. Thomas and Evelyn are also very nice.

Graham and Evelyn are my favorites from your list.  I like Cole as a nn but really don't like Colby (all I think of is the cheese).  Hallie is nice, too.

I would probably agree with PPs - if you hubby does't like Graham, it probably shouldn't stay on the short list.  FWIW, Graham is on our short list now with Alexander as the MN. 

Thomas is NMS but that might just be b/c my FIL is Thomas. I don't hate the name, though

What about combining a few names you already have?

I really like Graham and Thomas second. I'm not a fan of Colby. I'm really liking Hallie as well! Evelyn is always beautiful, but I see it here often. I just haven't liked Mya for some reason.

Thomas is our first pick for a boy, the girl name is the tricky one for us.

 I really like Evelyn and am actually trying to convience my DH. Hallie is cute too.
