Pregnant after IF

IF brain is getting the best of me!

I am not even 5 weeks yet (Wed will be 5) but I know during my last pregnancy which resulted in m/c I was already having crazy fatigue, constipation, and sore boobs by this point.  I have not really been feeling any of this yet.  I have felt very little fatigue.  This concerns me and I am so nervous for my first u/s tomorrow and what it might/might not show.  I have had a few bouts of nausea since Saturday but I think I can identify reason other than pregnancy for those. Is it normal not to feel much for how far along I am, even though I felt things last time???

Re: IF brain is getting the best of me!

  • I didn't feel any nausea until closer to seven weeks. With my DD I was so nauseous the whole time. This time not so much. I too was worried. Every pregnancy is different. Most symptoms luck in at six weeks. Good luck at the ultrasound. I hope it goes well.

  • I am with you.  I am almost 7 weeks (or 7 weeks today depending on what you look at online) and I don't have any symptoms except some tiredness (not bad at all) and bloating (which could just be weight gain from not exercising because of the activity restrictions).  No nausea I don't think.  I do get some heartburn and intermittent cramping but other than that nada.  I am nervous for my first ultrasound on Wednesday.  I am sure we are both fine.  Symptoms come and go.  Maybe we will be some of the lucky ones that don't have too many of them.  GL tomorrow!!

Thank you! I am starting to get tiredness but last time it was already full blown by this point.  If anything I need unisom to help me sleep!

Totally normal.  Each pregnancy is different.  Aside from sore boobs, I didn't have any symptoms through almost the entire first trimester.

  • I didn't feel anything until I was just past 6 weeks.  Maybe 6 weeks 1 day.. and it was just a waive of nausea.  Then at 7 weeks it kicked in big time.  At 8 weeks my PAIF/PGAL brain kicked in because all my symptoms left.  But came back again... so don't worry, (easier said then done).  You may, or may not get hit with it!  Congratulations on your great beta!

  • IF brain sucks! I have fleeting thoughts like this too. I'm 8 weeks 1 day today, I didn't start getting nauseated until end of week 6. Now it comes and goes, days when I feel good, I get the same worries you are having...bottom line, every pregnancy is different, every woman is different. Good luck tomorrow! I get nervous before each scan also!!

I was worried too as I didn't have any symptoms, but I still don't and so far things are good.  I think it's normal to feel whatever you are feeling, as I'm learning everyone is different and has their own normal!
