So, daughter aside, why can't you move to SD where your husband currently works. It sounds like there would be more near you?
In short my girls are in great schools and great programs right here, this is there home. San Diego can be a great place depending where you live, however the area my husband is in isn't the best and we don't see a reason to move them to subpar schooling. My husband also rents with others to lower his costs so its not like we would be alone if we moved out there. The girls have there own rooms here and are thriving.
One of my daughters struggles with reading, but is wicked smart...her support system is here including her tutors.
I'm confused about why you would be moving to Washington state if your husband works in San Diego? This whole thread is confusing actually. And I can somewhat understand why your parents might be upset about another baby, since they are essentially supporting you.
