growing pains?

For the past two days I have noticed my LO has been grabbing at the front and back of her thighs. When she does this, I notice she will sit on the ground for a few minutes and then get back up and run around.  I've been giving her extra water because of the heat so I don't think it is dehydration. Do you think it is growing pains?  My LO is in the 100th percentile for height every time I take her to the pediatrician but I've never seen her grabbing at her legs like they were hurting her.  Any thoughts or similar experiences? Thanks!
