Had our fetal echo today!

I'll be 24 weeks Monday, and today we had our fetal echo done at the perinatal specialist.  Our anatomy scan at 20 weeks was done at our OB's office, which has much crappier ultrasound imaging.  At today's scan, they redid most of the anatomy scan to get better pictures, which was awesome!

Everything is looking great!  Baby boy was extra cooperative, weighs one and a half pounds already, and everything is right on track.  No issues at all noted with the heart, which I've heard is slightly more of a risk after IVF (and is the reason we got the echo done).  I can't believe it's almost V-day.  

Next week DH has a conference in Seattle, and I'm meeting him there for Weds-Sunday for a kind of "babymoon," and i can't wait!  After all the infertility struggles and drama, it seems so surreal to be at this point.


Me: 35, DH: 34, Started TTC #1 since November '11
Several Clomid/Femara rounds, then fresh IVF September '12
Fresh IVF #1: chemical pregnancy, FET #1: ectopic, methotrexate
FET #2 resulted in our amazing baby boy Levi, born on 11/3/13 at 8 lbs, 5 oz. He is our everything!

    So glad everything is looking good. We have baby A's echo on Wednesday and she would not stay still for more than 30 seconds the entire time. So they didn't get to check out near as much as they were hoping to. Baby B's echo is in 2 weeks, so hopefully he will cooperate a little better then she did.

    That is awesome!
    Btw I lived in Seattle for 16, just left in March. I recommend eating at Palisades, Dahlia Lounge. Also do the ride the duck tour and go to pike place market.

    both measuring right on track....2nd u/s... all is well... both beans measuring right on track... released from RE... first
    appointment with MFM 1/5.  Looks like this is really happening!
