I'm a little whiney: you have been warned.
DH is out with his cousin, brothers, and some friends downtown where they went out to eat, had some drinks, and are now walking around 2nd Ave having a funfilled time. I'm glad because he has been working a lot lately and he deserves it for sure.
My sister told me earlier that she's riding on a party bus downtown tonight.
I hate the feeling, but I'm a little jealous and just down. I've only been out with the girls [aka my awesome sis in laws who are my bffs] once since K was born and that was just to dinner 10 mins away...and I had to get home in time to nurse K at bedtime. : /
I have a bottle of wine in the fridge but I want the fun time too, not just the buzz.
I've never really been a partier, but hearing DH on the phone makes me want to be out with him having fun.
Meh. Guess I'll just go to bed.

Girl, plan an outting! Moms need to get out sometimes, too. Life doesn't end when you have a baby.

One of my best friends just had a baby and we talk all the time about needing to have a night out, but then we talk ourselves out of it because of mommy guilt for being away LOL.

Drink some wine. Then plan a night out soon.

my version of getting out is going to Mommy & me once a week (like once a month now) where we all sit around in a circle and talk about out kids and whats been happening.

I've met some great ppl there, but i'm still "on duty" with LO.

Oh or DH thinks that going out running errands w/o LO on the weekend counts as well. one of these days I need a girls night out.  hard when I have to pump though.

This. I am plotting a few me time and just us dates for our bdays. I'm not a party person either but just the difference in environment will do you good.
