It seems that I can't pump more than 3 oz at a time. If I am lucky, I can pump 7 oz if DS hasn't fed in 6 hours, but that is typically impossible. How can I increase the amount I pump. I only have 9 oz in a freezer stash, which is not enough for my first day back to work on Thursday. I need 3 six ounce bottles (which is how much DS gets from me). How do I make that happen if I can only pump 3 oz.? Should I take something?
Thanks for any help or hints.
Re: xpost - another pumping question
I'm confused about the question. If you get 3 oz, just add it to another 3 oz pumping session and you have a bottle. It sounds like you've pumped more than the 9 oz in the freezer, where did those go?
My most productive sessions used to be right after night feedings and first thing in the morning.
