  • I like Alex and don't find it to be too 80's at all. As far as being too unisex, Alex is one of those names that I find suitable for both sexes since Alex is usually as nn for Alexander or Alexandra.

    I like Alex. I don't think it's too 80's. As a stand alone name I think boy not girl.

  • I like the full Alexander better.  But that being said, Alex isn't bad.  Have you considered Alec?

    This. I like Alex, but more as a NN to the formal. I much prefer Alec as a stand alone. Very strong and not common
