Hi ladies, I?ve been lurking for a while and plan to continue to do so until I?m ready to be more active in the TTCAL discussions. But I feel like I?ve lurked long enough to say hi, plus I was just starting to feel a little stalkerish. Carlson is my last name and as my login name implies, my H and I were expecting our first Jan 2014. We had been taking the NTNP approach for about 2 years. Once this past January rolled around, I decided to at least start keeping track of my cycle (brilliant!) to kind of guess when O was upon me, by April we got our first positive, the same week we closed on our very first house?an exciting week!! I felt confident about everything in life in general. Then at our 9 week appointment came the news, no heartbeat, no growth had occurred after 7 weeks. I was shocked because I had had zero, zip, zilch signs that anything was wrong and the heartbeat was strong at 6 weeks. Two us techs came in to verify a missed mc. I ended up having a D&C last Wednesday after giving my body some time to try to do it naturally.
I?ve read the blog, and will probably read it a few times over again, to become more acquainted with the information and resources available to us. I?d like to play a more pro-active role in understanding my body, cycle, charting, etc. as we begin to TTC again (still currently in the 2 week post-op no activity phase). The blog has been very helpful as a newbie. I admire and respect the supportive and strong community you have built here, and hope that I can contribute to it.
A little non TTCAL info about me: I?m a TCK (third culture kid) growing up overseas because of my parents jobs (in education), an INFJ personality type that has settled nicely in the PNW. Shout out to enmould and Poppy715 I saw yesterday you two are as well 
. H and I have been married 5 years come this July. We have two rescue dogs (mixed breeds) who keep us on our toes and laughing often. And we have a rescue cat, Oreo, who is a quite a character, and always in search of his next napping destination. Both my H and I are football fanatics. Go Seahawks! Unlike the love I have for my H and animals and the Seahawks, I have been on a plant-based diet since February and struggling to love it. Occasionally, I cheat. Usually with some type of cheese or salmon. Ending with one more love: I love to zumba.
I?ve come to find these boards immensely supportive and helpful as my H and I navigate our way through this. I?m sorry we find ourselves here, and I?m so very sorry for each one of your losses.

I'm so thankful for these boards, I can't be on FB or anything right now, I just come here instead. I'm glad you've found fertility friend to be helpful. I signed up yesterday and plan to take the online lessons they sent this weekend.

Ooohhhh... INFJ is a personality profile type that comes from the Myers Briggs test. It stands for: Introvert, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging. They have some free versions online, very interesting stuff. My personality profile is pretty darn accurate to who I am as a person, so I tend to give it lots of credit but there's all types of other personality profile tests out there. Welcome! It too am new to this board, not by choice of course. I have had a very similar experience....I was to be 10 weeks and 1 day last week and Friday I had a confirmed ultrasound with no heartbeat.
I hope we can learn and grow here.
