I'm sure with my original UO I've made some enemies. And I'm okay with that.nbsp;I don't think any less of someone who supports gay marriage, or someone who is republican or a democrat or whatever. You are entitled to do as you chose. Just as I am. If that makes me a bigot simply because I've chosen something against what you believe then ok. I'm not upset. You're entitled to feel that way. The OP asked for a UO and I gave you one. Like it or not ladies. I gave you one. [:]
Being a Christian has nothing to do with someone else's marriage. I am a Christian but live by "love thy neighbor as thyself", ALL neighbors. I truly believe Jesus is fine with gay marriage. We are all sinners so that's not a reason and neither is paraphrasing the Bible.

This. I love how some people who call themselves Christians pick and choose the parts of the Bible that only fit their agenda. Forget everything Christ said about loving your neighbor (one of the two greatest commandments by the way). Please don't give your judgey opinion then act like "Oh, well obviously I'm Christian and this is wrong". Uh, no. I'm no less of a Christian for being pro-love, which is what Christ's whole message was about. Thanks.

I literally know ONE friend whose had multiple abortions. I think if I remember it correctly, she told me 5 or 6 in her life. She's almost 30 and has a DD now.

She didn't use it as a 'form' of birth control. It just happened that way. She's been having sex since high school. That breaks down to like, one abortion every few years. That's not birth control. That's just life. It's legal and safe, and doesn't make her a horrible person. Her uterus is her business, not mine.

That is a whole lot of abortions just from having sex regularly since high school. I am totally pro choice, but come on, she could not figure out that unprotected sex would lead to a possible pregnancy which she obviously did not want? Abortions ain't know fun, I can speak from experience and I sure the would not want to go down that road more than once, just because oops I had unprotected sex again and now i am pregnant. It seems she did use it as a form of birth control since she was not using any other type to prevent it from happening again and again and again and again and again. That kind of makes me really angry that anyone would think that number of abortions is justified just from casually having sex and getting pregnant and not wanting the baby with no other factors like rape or something involved. And yes it is legal and yes it is safe but there also come a lot of risks like having trouble with future pregnancies or a botched job by the doctor. I almost don't believe she is telling the truth. It is painful physically and emotionally and not cheap, even if you go through planned parenthood. I can't imagine anyone being that careless with sex and willing to put themselves through that kind of pain so many times. Does your friend have a fear of condoms or birth control pills? I am sorry but that is not just life. Life is you make a mistake and learn from it so it does not happen again. I guess that is my early FFFC, I had an abortion, many moons ago and it sucked a fat one!

I'm sorry you had to go through that, LBAB. I was thinking the same thing but I didn't have the guts to say it. A close friend of mine had an abortion in college and I can't imagine her ever putting herself in that position again- let alone 4 or 5 more times. She still mourns the loss even though it was the right decision for her.

Thanks! It is defintiely something that stays with you even if you know for a fact that the right decision was made and have no regrets about it. Off topic, my kids broke our tv remote and we can't watch tv so I have been watching all of my 90210 DVDs and just watched the Spring Formal episode, it never gets old!!
