I have my doctors appointment tomorrow about my GD. I have had it with my last pregnancy so I am familiar with it but was just trying to get together a grocery list of food items and or meal ideas. Any moms have some favorites they would like to share?

I use the whole wheat sandwich thins for my sandwiches. They have about half the amount of carbs of regular wheat bread. And low-carb tortillas are great for a multitude of things (quesadillas, wraps, pizzas). Smart Balance Natural peanut butter has really low carbs but great protein and good fat. Light & Fit greek yogurt.
I am careful about a lot of the sugar free options of things (particularly in the ice cream/dessert isle) as I am picky about what kind of artificial sweetener I use (only Splenda).
