Switching to sippy question

Sorry, I know the boards are flooded with these questions but I can't remember what I did with my DD the first time around. When you switched to sippy did you give it at meal time? 

Since 9 months DS has been on 3 meals and 3 bottles. But I give 7oz bottle about an hour after the meal. If I give formula in sippy WITH meal right now, is that too much in the belly at once? Will he get hungry sooner? I can't remember any of this when my daughter transitioned! Thx

Yes I give milk in a sippy with his breakfast and dinner. I try to give it to him nearing the end of his meal. If I give it to him at the beginning then he fills up on just milk. He gets water during the rest of the day with lunch, snack and in between. I have been doing this since he was a year old

I feed little man breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner. If yours eats a lot at one meal he can probably make it to the next meal. Other babies like to snack. I am so scared to change up something and I think he will freak out but he doesn't and you can always go back for awhile
