We are stuck on Lana

We are stuck on Lana. While Hanna has a lot of meaning for us since Hanna Lana doesn't work we have mutually agreed that Hanna is off the table. Lana just speaks to me more strongly than Hanna does.

We have decided to look for a new first name and use Lana as a MN. Here is a list of first names we both like a lot. LN sounds like Robot. Opinions? Favorite? Suggestions are also welcome! We do not want Lana as a FN.

Abigail Lana Robot (my choice)

Natalie Lana Robot

Molly Lana Robot

Allison Lana Robot

Camille Lana Robot

Caroline Lana Robot(pronounced line not lynn)

Courtney Lana, Kelly Lana, Mary Lana, Catherine Lana are suggestions, I like Hailey Lana and Allison Lana. I think Camille and Caroline are extremely nice. I have to agree that Abigail Lana is my favorite of yours.

Thank you for the suggestions. I actually like Catherine now that i hear it with Lana.

FI's good MALE friend is named Kelly so he would never let that fly. It is a boy name through and through for him. Haha.

FI wants something very very normal as a FN. Hence our list mostly being top 50 names. Lana means Afloat and it honors my late father who was an avid fisher.

I think Allison Lana sounds best.  Some of the other names with the L at the end flow right into the middle name.  Natalie Lana is a tongue twister!

Great list!  I really like Lana with a lot of your names.  My favorites are Abigail, Allison, Caroline, and Natalie.

I like Caroline. Abigail Lana feels a bit like a tongue twister to me, but I suppose you wouldn't be saying them together too often.

I agree. And Molly Lana makes me think Dalai Lama. I actually like Lana as a first name a long a you're pronouncing out like FALALA.

I would use Lana as a first name - it's so pretty and I never hear it.

I'd nix all the first names ending in L. Abigail Lana for example, sounds like Abigail Ana.

All of those names are "L" heavy with Lana...but if I have to choose from the list...Caroline sounds the best.
