Our boy/girl twins arrived Wednesday at 35 weeks to the day. I have been a heavier poster on the high risk board, but thought I would quickly share our story here too since I am in the multiples group too.
Tuesday night we went to the hospital for monitoring, since I was feeling stronger contractions and strong pressure in my pelvis. I was already 3 cm dilated and 95 effaced for 6 weeks. I could only walk by shuffling my feet, it was so painful. The contractions were not consistent, just stronger, so we weren't sure what to expect when we went in. We ended up staying the night and woke up to being dilated to 4 to 5 cm, which is active labor. What? So we immediately got scheduled for a csection later in the morning since that was the plan all along.
Older sister by 1 minute Lauren Grace was 5 pounds, 6 ounces and has been in our room thriving ever since. Younger brother Carson Thomas was 5 pounds, 11 ounces and is in the NICU to help with his breathing, and also eating since he needs to breathe on his own before introducing a bottle. Overall he is doing amazing!

Expecting twins! Put on strict bedrest at home after preterm labor at 22 weeks. Hospitalized at 22 weeks and again at 29 weeks. No more please!
