lactation cookies using nutritional yeast?

Anyone know if using Nutritional yeast instead of brewers yeast will still make the cookies work?
I couldn't find brewer's yeast anywhere. My Whole Foods store told me Nutritional yeast is the same as brewers yeast. Which I now know after googling it that there is some differences in the yeast.

Whole foods has brewers yeast but it's not in the baking aisle. It's in the supplements section.

I asked a clerk. He said some times they get brewers yeast in stock and sometimes they get nutritional yeast and he only had nutritional yeast in bulk. I think I'm going to call and have someone look for me to see if it's in the supliment aisle.

You can still use it but the nutritional yeast won't do anything for your supply.

    I found brewer's yeast at GNC.nbsp; It's also available online.[/quote

Thanks! I have a GNC close to me I'm going to try there today. My Whole Foods store is about 30 plus minutes away. To far to make another trip today. The cookies I made yesterday with the nutritional yeast are delicious..... But did nothing for me supply LOL
