Leather shorts are stupid. I want to throat punch every girl I see walking around in the 90 degree weather with leather booty shorts. How's that swamp a$$ treating ya?
Unless you are on stage with Beyonce they just shouldn't happen.

Hahaha, I feel that way about high waisted shorts, too. If you want your as$ cheeks to hang out, why not just wear your underwear out? Basically the same thing.
YES! and I did an UO on this weeks ago but when I see the pockets of their booty shorts hanging out it drives me freaking nuts!!!
In the same vein as the leather shorts, I totally judge the parents of pre-teen girls who walk around the mall in clothing that barely covers their bits. Seriously, someone had to drive them to the mall, someone had to buy those clothes and wash them etc. I don't believe that their parents have no idea or that the girls change when they get to the mall or whatever. And I am talking about shorts that do NOT cover the butt cheeks, shirts that hang so low that they barely cover their training bras, etc. Flame away, but I am sooo judging!
And now, the classic FTM line: There is no way MY child is going to do that!

Not sure if this will be unpopular here or not but...
I despise seeing any child 2 years old or more with pacifiers in their mouths.

It makes me cringe when the child talks with it between their teeth or takes it out to speak and then pops it back in.
I'd rather see them suck their thumb if anything.
I dislike it when people name their kids one thing, but just call them by their nn for the rest of their lives. For example, name kid Edward, call him Eddy forever. This is an example from a friend. If you liked Eddy better, why not just name him Eddy.
Because Eddy looks dumb on a business card or college diploma?

Agree. Especially when that nn is picked out before birth!

DD is 2.5, he does have a soother at nap and bed time, but not during the day. If she's sick or under the weather she'll have it with her as well, more for comfort but most of the time will take it out. There's a little girl from playgroup who would be almost 3 now with it in her mouth constantly and it drives me nuts!

This one is likely to get me burned at the stake: Big Bang Theory. I cannot stand that show! Between Sheldon gasping for air every 3 seconds, the canned laughter, and a theme song that gets stuck in your head all night I just want to throw something at my TV every time my husband has it on. BAZINGA.
I like big bang theory but on a similar note I HATE Seinfeld.
Based on some of the posts I read on here....I think that some of you guys married some real assholes.
Good one! Hahaha and definitely makes sense!
I agree with this one too! I realize how lucky I am reading some of these stories!
My UO - I think people who just come to work to do their job and go home suck. You spend more time with people at the office than your own family, why not have a little fun?

could not agree more. When my inlaws stayed with us they watched it a TON because they love it. They'd be cracking up and I'm just staring at the screen scratching my head. i didn't find ONE funny thing about it.

1. I judge people that don't want to have students/residents help, watch, or do anything for them. How the F are they suppose to learn then? I would love for them to help out, even deliver my baby.

First page what whaaat!!!It is my opinion that fibromyalgia is not a real disease.Again, it is my opinion that it is a fabrication and a product of our hypochondriac society and lazy medical system.I am not denying that somenbsp; of those patients are in real pain, but I think it would serve them better to weed out the actually ill ones and diagnose them instead of just pumping them full of lyrica and making them feel better.
This is EVERY disease!!! Everyone has depression, ADD, PPD, a glucose intolerance, etc..
That's my OU, sorry but half the time I think people make up shnit just to be diagnosed.

I don't know enough about fibromyalgia or people with it to comment. but I feel like in general everyone is diagnosed with something so easily nowadays. Like Autism or ADD, there are definite children out there with it....but I feel like it is so wide spread because we are just looking to diagnosed anyone and everyone.
Overdiagnosis is 100% accurate. I agree with you, NRyan.

Along the lines of clothing. I completely hate that they make bikinis for little kids. Sorry but I don't want my toddler in a bikini. I have such a hard time finding one pieces for my child it's crazy. I have a hard enough time finding nice one pieces for myself. I will do a tankini for myself, but I refuse to let DD wear a bikini. (on a side note when DD started talking she would call her bathing suit her baby soup which I always thought was so cute)

yup! the board was pretty split on this one, but I am with you two.
I agree...mostly. If its for a girl older than 3..inappropriate.
However, I have a picture of myself in a two piece when I was like 1 and a half. The bottoms were white bloomers with little strawberries all over it and ruffles on the butt and the top was two big strawberries covering my nips. I was chubby and with the diaper butt filling out the ruffles..it was so cute! If u had a dd I would put her in something like that at that age...

TTC #2 in December 2014. BFP 12-31-14. Expecting a September baby!

There is this sweet little girl who goes to daycare with mine. Her mom works FT and the dad stays at home. He is so sweet and tries so hard but it is SO obvious he lets her dress herself. Yesterday she had on a summer dress with WOOL LEGGINGS and UGG BOOTS!!! lolol.
One day she had on a snow white costume with tights (also in the June Florida heat).
It's funny. and cute! he's a good dad.

Also, this is the face she makes when you tell her to "smile"... diva.
On the topic of fibromyalgia, my mom is a pharmacist and told me that a good portion of those patients are just drug addicts. When the drugs wear off, they start experiencing withdrawal pains and confuse that with the pain from fibromyalgia. Doctors will continue to prescribe the pills because they are still getting pay incentives and extras from the drug companies.
My UO is that I get unreasonably angry when I see a motorcycle parked in a regular parking space. I know that they have no place to park and therefore have to park there, but all the extra room in that spot just pisses me off!
Oh, I forgot to add that I appreciate when parents don't legally name their kids the nn they want the kid to go by. DH's name is Andrew and it was very clear his mom wanted him to go by Drew. His siblings are all named "D" names and his baby book even specifically stated that he would be called Drew. I hate that nickname and am so thankful it isn't his legally given name because he was able to decide he liked Andrew better. I asked him if he changed it later in life and he said no, that he always hated the nickname and insisted on being called his given name.

I don't think I'll have an issue with this. In Europe kids wear a lot less on the beach and nobody bats an eyelash so I guess it's just kind of just what you are used to. Personally for me though, in regards to bikinis, I think it will come down to the individual bikini: Cute litte nautical bikini? fine. Sparkly, pink, "I'm a little princess" bikini? Not happening.
ETA: And PS. I love Seinfeld. Although I'm a bit over it now as I have seen every episode at least twice. Now, Flight of The Concords...that will never get old.
My issue isn't with the amount of skin that is showing. i'm fine with them running around on the beach in diaper for all I care - it's the fact that ADULT bikinis are made, marketed and bought for BABIES. So like when a kid is in a STRING BIKINI....that has like...cups for boobs if that makes sense.

Taylor Swift just bugs me. She bawls and complains that people rip apart her love life when shes the one who is releasing album after album containing every little detail about her relationships. She slut shames women when shes dated quite a few men herself. Her songs only have two themes: I love you and I hate you. Yeah well I hate you, Taylor. And you look like a mouse.

This exactly. Put a little excitment into your day instead of moping around acting like you hate being here. Your mood effects others as well. Like you said, we spend a majority of our time with each other. Lighten up a little or else everyone else is going to hate being here/working with you. This is partially why I'd love to leave my job after LO is born. Smile people and quit being DEBBIE DOWNERS!!
Is this in response to the co-worker chitchat UO? Not wanting to small talk all day at work doesn't mean that the OP has a bad attitude at work or is a Debbie Downer. It means she wants people to do their job and stop floating from office to office to avoid work. My office has more than a few of those people and I am sure that the billable hours will sharply decrease when I go on maternity leave. just sayin'.

she looks like she is on drugs half the time. I will admit there are a song or two of hers I really like...like Tim McGraw or that song about December. But when her first album came out I was like is this girl for real? her lyrics are really "I will tell my friends you're gay?" she just comes across as immature to me, maybe by now she has grown up...but on second thought maybe not...she is still dating 18 year olds!
I am not her biggest fan, BUT she did write most of that first album when she was like...15.
But she does need to stop whinging about her love life.

My UO this week is that I'm so tired of the US acting like it is the center of the entire world. I'm an American, living abroad, and I've gotten to the point when I hear American politicans or "opinion makers" or even other Americans wax on about how the US is the "best country in the entire world of all times" I just wanna hurl something at their head. Its a great country with great people ... but a little less arrogance sure would be nice. Every culture can learn from another culture but no one can learn if they are convinced they are the absolute best. thing. ever.
