Cloth Diapering

Quick Prep Question

Hi everyone,

Just about to start the prepping process, and I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up. I have 12 Kissaluv fleece fitteds and 12 osocozy unbleached cotton prefolds. Can I prep all of them together in the same load since they're all natural fibers? Not sure if there's a load size limit or any other reason to keep them separated.

I know to prep my AIOs separately since they're synthetic.

In any case, my plan was to wash/dry 3-5 times on hot/high using 1/2 tablespoon of Charlie's Soap Laundry Powder. Sound ok? Do I need to use it each time? Or would you use detergent just for the first load and then just wash/dry without?

TIA, I'm completely new at this, but so excited to give CDing a shot. :)

Re: Quick Prep Question

  • Yeah, you can wash them together. Wash with detergent each time.

For your last prepping wash of the natural fibers, you can just add your AIOs and other synthetics.

Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,
    It all revolves around you.
  • Great, thanks so much! :)
