When is it time to offer twice-a-day feedings? DS has been working on purees for a few weeks now and will chow down 2 Tbsp like its going out of style. I'm hesitant to add a 2nd feeding because I still want to make sure he's getting enough fluids.
I've read that as long as the baby has 32oz a day, solids are ok but I have no idea how much he gets bc he's primarily BF and we supplement 1 bottle of formula at night.
Re: solids question
I am glad you posted this. I have been wondering the same exact thing. DS is EBF and also eating purees once a day. I BF and then move on to the solids and he also chows down and then cries for more!
We do this exactly, except he takes 6 oz of formula.
Henry Cavill...You're welcome!

My pedi suggested to move to two feedings when they eat 2oz at a feeding. Right now, Cole eats about 1.5 oz purees.
Then again, I don't really follow my pedi's advice with feeding solids. lol
I still only do once a day (and sometimes skip days) for the mere fact that my days are so hectic I can barely fit it in. It's going to be quite an adjustement when I have to feed both my toddler and infant 3 meals a day! At least they will be eating the same things eventually.
