Molly and Maggie are way too close for me. I really don't like matchy sibsets though, so take that for what it is. What about Rose as a first name? Lydia, Maggie, and Rose is a great sibset.
Yikes! I totally missed the Maggie/Molly connection and I feel so dumb. We did consider Mary Rose and we do love Rose but our last name is a color (like Brown or Gray) and it doesn't quite work. We also talked about Rosemary and love that, but my fear is she'll end up being called Rose and I'm concerned about it being funny with our last name. Any suggestions? Thanks, everyone! This is really helpful.
I adore Molly and totally don't get it as a nn for Margaret. I know it is considered one, but it doesn't make sense to me so I never think of it as one. So if you really like bothh names I wouldn't wory about that connection. Lydia, Maggie and Molly are a cute sib set. If you yelled their names out in a park you'd get no side eyes ffrom me.
First, I just want to say Lydia and Maggie are two of my favorite girl names. Love them both. IMO Molly isn't as great. Plus I see PP's point that Molly and Maggie are both nn's for Margaret.
What is sticking out to me is that both Maggie and Molly are common nicknames for the same formal name Margaret.So to me it's sort of would be like naming two siblings Rob and Bobby.What about Mary Rose?nbsp;
I think that Molly and Maggie are way too close as sisters, but Molly is usually short for Mary not Margaret.

The Maggie/Molly thing did stand out to me too, but I don't know if it would to everybody.
I don't think I'd be too bothered by the Rose Color combination, unless it was like Rose Red or something.

Molly Rose is nice. Maggie and Molly are too matchy together for me though.
Rose in the FN spot would be my preference. Lydia, Maggie, & Rose/Rosie.
