Skip Hop Duo Deluxe vs. Studio

I am a FTM and I received both of these diaper bags at my shower. My husband already picked one out that he likes for him so now I have to decide which one of these to keep for me and which one to get rid of. Here are links to both. So I actually have both of these diaper bags. I used the studio one, but my husband didnt want a "girly"  when he was out with our son and got him the duo deluxe. I liked my studio it has lots of room, doesn't scream diaper bag, and held up pretty well.  I stopped really carrying shortly after by son turned one and started walking. I found it a hassle to carry it once he was mobile because every time I bent down to help him it slid off my shoulder. So then I either just threw diapers in my purse, or carried the duo deluxe, cause it could go cross body.

The cross body ability on the duo delue is just about the only thing I like about it. I find I can't put as much stuff on it ( and I am not a super over packer). If you put things in the top pockets ( like wallet)  it makes it hard to search the bottom of the bag. By husband liked it, but he really isn't super picky about the diaper bag.  We use it when we are both out together, and there is a chance I will want hubby to carry the dial bag. As my son is now older we bring less so the duo deluxe is not bad, but not my favorite.  

I did like that both can clip to the stroller, though the studio was easier cause with the duo deluxe you have to take the long strap off to clip to stroller, which has resulted in us miss placing the strap a couple of times.

this time around I am looking at getting the skip hop versa cause it can go cross body.

I'm glad you mentioned that about the straps because that was my concern about the Studio...I feel like the straps are just a bit too short to stay on...especially if I'm wearing a big jacket or something. And I was worried about the room in the Duo because it looks smaller. I was looking at the Versa also...maybe I'll just return both and get that. I dont' really love the overall look of the Versa but if it works the best then I don't mind. Thank you for the advice!!

I would keep both. The Studio is more like a purse, something you'll carry around with you running to the mall or grocery shopping for quick trips. The Duo is great though for strapping onto your stroller for trips to the zoo, or leaving with family while they babysit.
